Pursuant to the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, The Hong Kong Christian Churches Union Kwong Yum Care Home (Integrated Aged Care Service) (hereinafter referred to as “KYCH”) adopts the following policy to ensure the confidentiality of the personal data of the website users. Before the provision of personal data to KYCH, the website users are requested to read this message carefully. The purpose for the collection of personal data: KYCH handles the service application by you in accordance with the personal data provided by you. The provision of personal data is voluntary and in case you fail to provide sufficient personal data, KYCH may not be able to process your application or to provide service to you. Please ensure that the personal data provided by you are correct and keep us informed of any changes of such data.
Classes of persons who may have knowledge of the Personal Data
Only relevant staff working in KYCH may have knowledge of the personal data. Staff of KYCH would only disclose the personal data to the following parties:
Parties involved in the assessment of your application and provision of service to you such as government departments, non-governmental organisations, public utility companies etc.
Persons, organisations to whom disclosure of your personal data is given by you;
Or parties to which the disclosure of your personal data is authorized by law;
Access to and Correction of Personal Data
Saving the exemptions provided in the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, you have the right to make access and correction requests on your personal data held by KYCH. Your right includes the provision of a copy of the relevant data after submitting the application form and paying the fees.
