Exhibition Introduction

The exhibition is hosted by the artist's cradle, in partnership with the students of Christian Alliance S W Chan Memorial College. Kwong Yum Senior Artists will exhibit two series of twelve paintings. From gifts of nature to buildings that experience human wisdom. I hope that through the works to outline and connect the common memories of different generations, I hope to use the brush to interpret the impression and hope of Hong Kong in a diversified way. Let everyone recall the little fun in daily life and cheer up the soul. Art helps the elderly to express their personal feelings and opinions, and each work is unique and meaningful. By viewing the paintings, we try to understand the inner world and voice of the elderly, meet them in the art world, and discover their uniqueness and inner beauty. Hope to see you all at the exhibition and share with each other the love and hugs God has given us.

Cotton Trees In Early March

In early March, cotton trees waver arms in fluctuating weather. Blossoms along walkways to school has filled our childhood. In the old days, Chinese people were used to collect and dry blossoms for medical use or meal. Cotton trees connect our memories of different generations in life. This perpetual cycle witnesses the mysteries of life and time.

Hong Kong In My Eyes — Reality

Even if we are living in the same city, we could have different perspectives with unlimited imagination on our neighborhood. This series advocates creative power without limitations. In the eyes of our older adults, Hong Kong is shown through a realistic way with lines and forms in a surrealistic expression. Both expressions are contradicted, but balanced in harmony.
