Given the increasing aging population and the implementation of legislation regarding dying in place, there is a growing demand for high-quality end-of-life care services in Hong Kong.
The Hong Kong Chinese Christian Churches Union Kwong Yum Care Home (Integrated Aged Care Service), Vera Ruttonjee Desai Spiritual End of Life Care Centre and the Department of Social Work and Social Administration of the University of Hong Kong host the “Spiritual End-of-Life Care Conference 2024”, namely Care of the soul at end-of-life: the essence of being human, to facilitate a deep understanding and appreciation of the role of spirituality in the dying process and to enhance the quality care provided to individuals facing the end of their lives.
