When memories fade and voices grow faint,
what the elderly need is not merely “care,” but to be remembered.
The tenderness of Namaste Care™ softly whispers, “You matter because You are You and We are here with you.”
The "Namaste Care™" model, founded by Professor Joyce Simard, has been widely implemented across various countries and cities worldwide. In recent years, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Mainland China have also actively promoted this person-centred spiritual care approach, allowing the elderly to be honored and respected.
Highlights of the Seminar
Exploring New Perspectives on Spiritual Care in Chinese Culture
The documentary, “ The LastVoice”, delves into the inner worlds of elderly with terminal illness and their caregivers in Hong Kong. It sensitively portrays their struggles and transformations within the context of Chinese culture. Renowned scholar Professor Simon Shui-Man Kwan, an expert in spiritual care, offers insights into new perspectives on spiritual care within Chinese cultural backgrounds.
